Mr. Dontrell Hudson

Mr. Dontrell Maurice Hudson was born November 21, 1980 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Derbrue A. Moore and Willie L. Washington. Our loved one passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 42 years. Dontrell was a lifelong resident of Saginaw and a longtime resident of Buena Vista Township, MI. He attended Zion Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting a variety of churches. He was a graduate of Buena Vista High School and earned an Associate Degree in General Studies and Psychology from Delta College. Mr. Hudson had great work ethics working a variety of jobs and eventually became an entrepreneur. He was the founder of G.B.M. (Get Bread Mafia), a Rapper, a talented drawer/artist with a great sense of humor who liked classic cars, sounds, fancy rims and enjoyed playing games. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Dontrell M. Hudson, Jr., Indiana; his loving mother, Derbrue Ann (Cliff, Jr.) Moore; father, Willie Larry Washington; sister, Tanisha Moore of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Elrease Thompson of Grand Rapids, MI, Larry D. Washington, Cliff L. Moore and Marquavis D. Moore, all of Saginaw; aunts, Denise Johnson, Marlo Donald, Latasha Lawson Donald, Gloria and Linda Crowley and Linda Hudson; uncles, Frank Hudson, William King and Vincent Donald, all of Saginaw, MI; god-son, Leselie Fayson; nieces, McQueen, Nyari and Charisma Moore; nephews, LaRun Vanlanham, Cliff Moore and the twins, Jamal and Jamel Washington; special cousins, LaShawn Monique Hudson, Dontaye Harris, Tonisha Donald and LilwillK; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his grandparents, William (Adelle) King and Ted (Bernice) Donald. The family would like to extend thanks to Pastor Genevieve Benson, Laura Bell, Mary Mosley and everyone, because everyone was special to Dontrell in their own way; also, a special thanks to everyone for all the love and support that they have shown our family in the time of bereavement. We love you all and really appreciate all that you have done for our family. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Pastor Genevieve Benson will officiate. Visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
