Mr. Keith Alexander Williams
May 27, 1963 - November 16, 2021
On November 16, 2021 our family suffered the monumental loss of our bright light who filled our lives with humor and love. Our brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Keith Alexander Williams, was 58 years of age. He passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Keith was born on May 27, 1963 in Quincy, Florida to George A. and Anna M. Williams. He was the youngest of four children. Keith was educated in the Saginaw Public School System in Saginaw, Michigan and at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Keith married the, love of his life, Ruth Cuevas on May 3, 2008, and lovingly embraced the children of this union. Keith had so much love for his family and friends. He was an excellent cook and loved requesting and exchanging recipes from his sisters whether it was for a Sunday dinner, special occasion or holiday. He had a passion for cooking, a skill he inherited from his dad. Keith was a huge fan of comic books and action heroes, especially Marvel and DC comic characters, his art work often reflected the joy he had for them. Keith looked forward to weekend trips with Ruth whether visiting the Gulf beaches or spending time with his family in Panama City. Keith was a grown-up KID who took great pride and enjoyment in bringing joy to his grandchildren. He loved his two nieces whom he forever wanted them to remain frozen in time as young girls and never failed to bring humor to the conversations they shared. Keith’s beautiful personality was evident in the friendships he developed both on a personal and professional level. He was a loving person who enjoyed entertaining his friends and family. His sarcastic sense of humor was annoying but was well received by those who didn’t take him too seriously. Keith leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Ruth; his mother, Anna Williams; his sisters, Angelia Williams, Anita (Ossie) Jackson and Valerie (Steven) Davis all of Michigan; nieces Stephanie Davis and Kendyl Davis; his uncle and aunt, Sonny and Freddie Hodges of Michigan; cousins in crime, Todd Hodges, Dexter Fite and Terry Hodges; his children, Biviana (Jason) Sparks, WA, Joao (Ashley) Cuevas, Kuyey Cuevas and Gabriel Cuevas all of Florida; grandchildren, Alora Cuevas, Noah and Elijah Sparks, Arianna and Joao Cuevas, Jr.; his very special childhood friend, Darryl Thomas; goddaughter, Erica Thomas; his beloved, devoted dog, Bailey; numerous wonderful cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Williams; grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins. On November 22, 2021 a beautiful service to memorialize Keith was held at Culley’s Meadow Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Tallahassee, FL.
