Mr. Marcus Lee Bell

September 11, 1960 - June 14, 2021

Mr. Marcus Lee Bell passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the age of 60 years. He was born the son of Robert and Callie Mae Bell, September 11, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. Marcus graduated from Saginaw High School ”Class of 1979”. He later joined the U.S. Army. He loved to fish and was great at it. He loved to be around family and friends bringing them together for a good old BBQ which he was the best at. He also enjoyed painting in his spare time. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Jimmy Fleming; brothers, Robert (Zandra) Bell, Keith (Laura) Bell, Michael (Thora) Bell and Dereke (Mary) Bell; aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including very close friends better known as the Rough Riders: Ronnie Roby, Jessie Donald, Ricardo West, Donnie Stevenson, Roger and Charles Tullos, James Colvillan, Reginald Stevenson, Marcus Brown, Robert Wallce and Jimmy Gilyard. Marcus was preceded in death by his son, Marcus Bell, Jr.; mother, Callie Mae Bell; father, Robert Bell; parents that raised him, Geraldine Turner and Edgar C. Turner; sisters, Regina Bell, Dianne Harvey and Jacqueline Bell. The family wishes to thank our relatives and friends for their kind expressions of concern during our bereavement. May God bless each and every one of you. Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Dr. Willie F. Casey will officiate.
