Mr. Willie James Still

July 24, 1939 - March 7, 2022

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Willie James “Jessie” “Rabbit” “Nannie Boot” Still, passed away at the age of 82 years on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey surrounded his loving family. He was born on July 24, 1939 in Union Springs, Alabama. He lived in Perth Amboy, New Jersey for many years. He retired from Witco Chemical Company after working 30 years. While in retirement he loved traveling, watching football and baseball. The baseball games of his grandsons Jaizair and Javale was exciting and enjoyable for the proud granddad. Willie James “Jessie” leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory a son, Willie (Kimberly) James Still III; daughter, Jessica Rose Still; three grandsons, Jaizair James Still, Javale Allen James Still and Jaisim Todd James Still; two brothers, Daniel and Nathaniel Still; three sisters, Odelle and Bernice Still and Louise Simpson all of Saginaw, MI. Mr. Still was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Barbara Ann (nee Scaife) Still; mother, Rosie Lee Still; father, William Henry Still; brothers, Robert Lee and Edward Still; a sister, Jettie Lawson; uncles, Graft, Luckie and James Still; aunts, Hazel Pritchett; Bessie Thomas, Bertha Wilson and Ossie Saxon; uncles, Bill Pickett and EC Calhad; a niece, Cassandra Still. The family of Mr. Willie James Still acknowledges with sincere appreciation your understanding, your prayers and all acts of kindness shown at this time of bereavement.
