Mr. Alton James Wicker III

Mr. Alton James Wicker III was born February 5, 1996 in Saginaw, Michigan to the proud parents of Alton, Jr. and April (Sherley) Wicker. He passed away on June 29, 2026 at the age of 30 years. Alton, a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School in 2014. He was currently a student at Delta College studying in the field of Entrepreneurship. He was self-employed in Media Management and a former member of IBEW Local 557. He loved to paint, draw, skateboard, create music and enjoyed listening to R&B and Rapp music. He was loved and well known throughout the city. Mr. Wicker leaves to cherish many memories his parents, Alton Wicker, Jr. and April Wicker; sisters, Shakeyla Wicker, Stephanie Cochran (Montez) and Janae Wicker (Jaliah); grandparents, Dianne (David) Conner and Alton Wicker, Sr. (Theresa); aunts ,Stephannie Copeland (Tearle) , Leola Jackson, Katherine and Cynthia Rivers; uncles, Brian Wicker, Chris Griffin, Bennie Babers, Marcus Brewer, Charles Johnson, Darrick and Ernest Menzie, Stephon and Sean Galloway and Ricky Robinson; a niece, Abigail Cochran; nephews, Montez Cochran, Jr., Dominic Cotton and Mason Cochran; cousins, Alexis Wafer, Trayvion, Alfonzo, Cortez, Anthony and Cheyenne Rivers, Van Rowland and Tayshawn Laster; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Charles and Tra’von Johnson. Octavia Browder, Tyler Dillard, Michael Seals, Cameron Riley, Antwine Banks, Mikel, Vondel and Delvon Bullock and Patrick Robinson. Mr. Alton James Wicker III was preceded in death by grandparents, James Sherley and Tracy Sherley; aunt and uncles, Monee’ Jones, Corey Ward, Corey Phillips and Michael Nash; cousin, Daishun Wright; special friends, Frederick Jones-Harvey, Sylvester Lawson and Tyler Sanders. The family expresses special thanks to My Michigan Health nurses on 7th floor ICU and ER staff nurses; family nurse, Erica Sanders McCulloh. Family hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of life service commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
