Mrs. Andrea Lanise Motley

Andrea Lanise Motley affectionately known as “Niecy” or “Dree” was born March 13, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the first-born daughter of Sandra Lee Brownlee and the late Robert Lee Brownlee. On March 12, 2020 God called Andrea to her Heavenly Home. Andrea accepted Christ at an early age and was currently a member of Center of Attraction Church under the leadership of Apostle James Glenn. Andrea was educated in the Detroit public school system and was a graduate of Cass Technical High School 1984 and Saginaw Valley State University 1990. Andrea was united in holy matrimony on April 8, 1995 with Vincent Motley and to that union three children were born, Vincent II, Tamera, and Devin. Andrea has always been a hard worker with strong work ethics, she started her first job in high school at Kentucky fried chicken (hired by her uncle Fredrick), she worked her way through college graduating debt free. She worked for General Motors from 1990 until 1995 and was an employee of RGIS as an Inventory Specialist from 1997 until her death. She loved cooking, swimming, traveling, taking care of animals, and spending time with her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She was proceeded in death by her beloved father January 3, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband; Vincent Motley, three children; Vincent II (Shlondra), Tamera, and Devin; her loving mother Sandra Brownlee; two sisters; Monique Harris (Dwight) and Tomika Timmons (Dock); five brothers in-law, Arthur Lee Motley (Betty Lee), Oscar Motley (Jarvella), Frank Motley (Regina), Kenneth Motley (Alisen), and Gary Motley (Sharon); two sisters in-law, Clarissa Hunter and Valerie Peterson; her best friend, Gloria Burton; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special friends, Shawn Holmes, Lisa Wilton and Takeysha Harris. Family hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church, 1114 North 6th Street, Saginaw, MI 48601 with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m.Dr. Marvin T. Smith, Host Pastor and Apostle James Glen will officiate with interment in Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Avenue, Berkley, Michigan 48072.
