Mrs. Annie Moultrie

Mrs. Annie Summerall-Moultrie our beloved mother, grandmother and friend made her transition home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the age of 69 years. She was born November 28, 1950 in Greenwood, Mississippi, the daughter of Percy L. Summerall and Littie A. Holland-Summerall-Woodard. In 1957 Annie relocated to Cleveland, Ohio from Greenwood, MS with her parents and five siblings. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from East High School. In 1967 she relocated to Saginaw, MI with her mother, step father and two youngest sisters. Annie attended beauty school and was a hair stylist and hair instructor for many years. Annie love helping people and decided to go to school in the medical field to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed for 20 years at Bay Arenac Community Health-AFC Home for disabled adults until her retirement. Annie was an outspoken, loving, caring and giving person who touch many lives. She enjoyed watching basketball games, reading, doing puzzles and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Annie will truly be missed. Mrs. Annie Lee Summerall-Moultrie leaves to cherish her memory: three loving sons, Christian J. (Stephanie) Liddell of Bay City, MI, Rayshon D. Moultrie of Saginaw, MI and her adopted son, Montez Bell of Bay City, MI; 12 grandchildren, Ly’Crystal, Dante, Travis, Me’Aira, Shontell, Christian Alonte, Julian, Shaun, Arielle, Kaiden, Xavier and Gianni; four great-grandchildren, Adonis, Ondrea, Josiah and Syx; three sisters, Betty J. (Albert) Mitchell of Cleveland, OH, Shirley A. (Elbert) Young and Marchelle (Derric) Martian, both of Saginaw, MI; three brothers, Percy L. (Nyoka) Summerall, Jr. of Cleveland, OH, James L. (Susan) Summerall of Memphis, TN and Eugene (Inez) Summerall of Saginaw, MI; sister-in-law, Peggy Summerall of Cleveland, OH; one aunt, Christean James of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friend who is like a daughter , Kelly McDaniel. Mrs. Moultrie was preceded in death by her father, Percy L. Summerall; mother, Littie A. Holland-Summerall-Woodard; stepfather, Maurice Woodard; brother, Sylvester Summerall; sister, Bobbie J. Summerall; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. The family would like to express special thanks to McLaren Bay Regional and staff. Visitation will take place from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. A private funeral service will be held.
