Mr. Bryan S. Scott

My Final Touchdown~~ As I lift my eyes up unto the hills, where did my help come from? It came from the Lord. My whole life was about my family and the Lord as I go on to be with the Lord I will continue to be with my family just looking from the hills. The first quarter of my life I, Bryan S. Scott, Sr. was born in Saginaw, Michigan on the 14th day of October to my father, Lorman S. Scott and mother, Bernice H. Scott. I was their baby boy. I praise the Lord as I parade into heaven reuniting with my parents on December 10, 2024. Second quarter I attended Carrollton Public Schools where I participated in all sports, but my passion was football, I was the man in football I played a lot of positions. I was in the graduating “Class of 1978”; I also was a chef and made the best hamburgers around. I went to COC for Cutlery School as well as being a chef at The Saginaw Country Club. I also worked for Kretschmer wheat germ. Third quarter I was a lifetime member of Ninth Street Community Church, I served and was very dedicated to my duties in the church being a profound member I was on the Usher Board, a Trustee, Choir and participated in bible study and was a very active member of Men’s Fellowship. I also help with volunteering and support the community of Saginaw, Michigan helping kids in need. My personal hobbies: I collected movies, becoming a detective from programs like SUV and Blue Bloods, I continued to love the games of sports: basketball, baseball, most of all football and those Detroit Lions. I really enjoyed going to see my grandsons play the sports I loved. Fourth quarter I met the love of my life Roberta Gordon an we had three beautiful kids, my eldest Aeriell; my only son, my dude, LB Bryan II; my daughter-in-law, Samantha and my baby Deborah; my son David General; my grandkids, De’Ayree, Eu’Laycia Deb’Breiona, Zae’Nail, Dai’Lyn, Ja’Mari, Dai’vin, E’Mir, Skyla, Rian and Bonnie; my siblings, H. Ann (Ray), Cindy, Kristie, Brenda (Richard); my forever in-laws, Betty, James, David, Re’Nail, Zap, Diane, special brother-in-law, Carl Gordon; my nieces, my babies Raeann, Nicole, Alicia, Andrea, Courtney and Jennifer; my nephews, my dudes, Kristopher, John II, Jamarr and William (I love them all as my own), a special nephew that I raised as my own, Sam Williams; my aunts, Roberta Johnson and Pearl Heilig; my beautiful god-daughters, Lindsey H and Crystal Mickens. I have a lot of cousins too many to name but especially my special cousins, Vonnie Scott, Ngai, Mike, Michelle and Ivan. My Possie, my friends, Matt, Orlando (Cap), Sheldon, Joey, Ramone Keels (Poochie), Kendra, Kay, Derrick and Dee Hill and my Ninth Steet Community Church family. Scoring my final touch down into heaven I join my parents, Lorman and Bernice Scott, my baby girl Princess Elann, grandson, Johnson Laster, Jr.; my brother, Bernard, more than a brother-in-law, Rex, Sr.; my younger brother but my nephews, Jerome and Rexy; my great-nephew, Christian; my uncles, William Scott, William Heilig, Robert Scott; special cousins, Lorman Sherrell Heilig, Bobby Scott; in-laws, Mr. Joe and Dorothy Gordon, JoAnn, Joe, Larry, Charles, Kim, Sandra, Last but not least My Forever Love, Roberta “Bertie”. This was not farewell or goodbye, no tears for me, remember me , especially those Detroit Lions Score yell< “Yah Bryan”. THIS IS MY FINAL TOUCHDOWN!! We, the family of Bryan S. Scott, Sr. would like to give an extra Thank You to Jennifer Freeman, Ngai and Ivan for sitting with our dad. The nurse’s from My Michigan Medical Center and Compassus Hospice Care. We truly in our hearts, would like to say THANK YOU to Bryan Scott, Sr., SISTERS for EVERYTHING you have done for our dad throughout the years. We can’t THANK YOU enough.
