Chasity Tacquiana Jackson, 38, of Saginaw, MI, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. Chasity was born on January 28, 1986, in Saginaw, MI to her mother, Aretha Jackson and father, Isom Atkins III. Chasity attended Bridgeport High School and earned her high school diploma in 2004. She attended Delta College to pursue a career in nursing. Chasity became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2014. She was at the finish line of earning her degree of becoming a Geriatric/ Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with the completion date of August 2024. Chasity was an irrefutably beautiful and humble soul, who was the true embodiment of love. She passionately loved her children, her mother, and her family, and had a genuine love for taking care of others. She was a nurturing by nature. Chasity will be remembered as an amazing mom, human-being and nurse. Chasity leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Aretha Jackson, father, Isom Atkins III; her five heartbeats, Bryce, Braxton, Bayleigh, Boston, and Brazil Jackson, a bonus son Dequavion Conley; her three sisters, Alana, Breanne, and Skyy Jackson; one brother, Lamar Powell; grandparents, Carolyn Jackson, Jesse (Mattie) Jackson of Fayetteville, Georgia; Shirley George; aunts, Desiree Jackson, LaToyia (Ann) Jackson-Roberson, Jessica Jackson, Marcella (Cornelious) Wilson, Melissa Smithers, Ilonnye Bailey, Sandra Atkins, Karen Atkins; uncles, Frankie (Tangela) Tubbs of Loganville, GA; Bishop Chet (Elizabeth) Atkins; special uncles, Henry Hatfield and Richard Jackson; three nieces, Lauren Amos, Love and Lannah Blunt, two nephews, Landan Jackson, Lamar Williams; godparents, Tanya Reed and Sam Jenkins; cousins, Christian, Dymond, Pearl, Walter, Samone; special cousins, Ashley Jackson of Indianapolis, Indiana; Andrea Hatfield, Cherish Green, Nitisha “Poppy” Atkins, Jasmin Jackson, and Ebony Hatfield; special friends, Kristal Taylor, Shanieka “TuTu” Terrell of Georgia, Cynthia Nickleberry of Virginia, and Robert Conerly. Chasity was preceded in death by her grandparents Barbara Atkins-Whitley, Isom Atkins Jr., great-grandparents, Ruby (William) Hatfield, Abe (Leester) Robert, aunts, Sarah Bracey and Kathy Graves; uncle, Donald Atkins, cousins, Demaris Hatfield and Samuel Jackson, and the family pet Midnight. The family wishes to express special thanks to the Bridgeport Police Department, Officer Larrisa Fuester, Cassie Clifton, and the staff of Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home, also to Pastor Ron Frierson and the entire New Covenant Christian Center Church family. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2024 at New Covenant Christian Center, 2395 S. Outer Dr. Saginaw, MI 48601. Apostle Ron Frierson will officiate.Entombment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 N. Center Rd.,Saginaw, MI 48638 Visitation will take place from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. at the funeral home.
