Family Hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at New Morning Star Baptist Church, 3176 Wadsworth Avenue, Rev. Johnnie Goodman, pastor. Pastor Miles Franklin will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Avenue. Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born June 6, 1954 in Saginaw, MI to Lena (Badger) Meredith and Isaac Meredith, Sr. Harold was a loving, friendly, kindhearted, devoted, outgoing and dedicated person who loved talking and spending time with is children. He spent the majority of his time speaking and teaching the Word of God both inside and outside of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Deaonn Sherman, DaMonica Meredith and Patrice Simon, all of Saginaw; five sisters, Geraldine Thorne of Stone Mountain, GA, Doris Ann (Larry) Aberthany and Katie Meredith all of Detroit, MI, Lucy Horrison of Leighton, AL and Elaine Clement of Saginaw, MI; one dear aunt, Lizzie Anderson of Saginaw; five granddaughters, Kanisha Holmes, Diamond Gaines, DaeShanae Sherman, Chaquandra Wright and Kiayana Buckley; six grandsons, Deonn Gaines, Deontae Holmes, Deondre Gaines, Dre'Vonne Sherman, Malik Wright and Vincent Jones, Jr., all of Saginaw, MI; a host of cousins and nieces and special nephews, including Craig Meredith, Kevin Clement, DeAndre Clement, Kentrell Daniels, Frank Clement III, Sean Meredith and Michael King; many other relatives and friends including special friends of his life, Tommy Williamson, Herbert Beverly, James York and Pastor Miles Franklin. Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Lena (Badger) Meredith; father, Isaac Meredith, Sr. and brother, Isaac Meredith, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to Faith Missionary Baptist Church, New Morning Star Baptist Church, Browne's Mortuary and to their relatives and friends.
