Ms. LaTongela Tiane Daily

LaTongela Tiane Daily was born to the parents of Maurice and Betty (Pruitt) Daily on September 8, 1968 in Saginaw, Michigan. She passed away on November 12, 2022 at the age of 54 years. Ms. Daily was baptized at an early age, becoming a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School “Class of 1986”. She continued her education at Delta College from 1987 – 1989, she furthered her knowledge at Eastern Michigan University earning a Bachelor Degree in Business in 1993. LaTongela received her Master’s Degree in Science Administration in 2018 from Central Michigan University. After 25 years of dedicated service, she retired from ISD Head Start as Case Manager on October 7, 2022. She was a workaholic. She enjoyed shopping, dressing in designer apparel, attending plays, concerts, eating at the finest restaurants, watching movies and reading a good book. LaTongela leaves to cherish many precious memories her mother, Betty Daily; best friend, Major McClure; sisters, Coco-Chanel Chablis Moore and China Giovanni Daily; brother, Unceld L. Daily; aunts, Mattie Harper, Rosemary Ruth, Yvonne Helton, Shirley Camel, Minister Lorraine Brown, Joyce Smith, including special aunts, Michele Barkley and Pauline Pruitt; uncle, Bishop Larry Camel; niece, Kenadee S. Daily; cousins, Bryan Blackman, Lowana Ruth, Jasmine Camel, Beyonca Carruth, Teoahnna Mayo, Valdemar Hill, including special cousin, Yolonda Harper; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Tanisha Carthel, Taneal Johnson, Michael Simpson, Fredie Simpson, Michele Williams, Janae Williams, Yolando Blackmon, Amya and Zion Williams, Chevette James, Alva Woods, Dorthy Haire, Carolyn Clayton, Angie Duncan, Lovell Johnson, Tamia and Tiera Thorton, Shawn Pruitt, Carl Ruth and Eddie Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Daily; sister, Dynasty DeEddie Moore; grandparents, Jamie Lee and Earlene Pruitt, Jessie Daily and Ursula (Fred) Edwards; uncles, Leonard Palmer, Louis Blackmon and Melvin Barkley; god-parents, Arthur Sawyer and Mack (Eileen) Johnson; cousins, Cager Pruitt, Jr. and Kimberly Palmer. The family would like to extend special thanks to her friends and co-workers at ISD Head Start Ascension St. Mary’s 6th floor ICU staff and Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home. A private service has taken place.
