Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Wolverine State Baptist Headquarters, 615 S. Jefferson Ave. Pastor Joseph Rodriguez will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present at 6:00 p.m. for a family hour. Beloved servant of God, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper at the age of 64 years. Scottie was born July 31, 1942 in Vicksburg, MS to David and Agather Williams. She was employed with the Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services and Saginaw County Child Development Center for a total of 37 years, reaching and teaching multitudes of people with God's words, love and kindness. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, David Williams, Emma Anderson of Junction City, KS; Ella (Henry) Johnson, Ian Anderson, Shannon Anderson, Deloise Wolfe, Ivan Wolfe, Alphounce Wolfe, all of Saginaw, MI; her sisters and brothers, Iver (Eddie) Rhodman of Vicksburg, MS, Alphounce (Joyce) Williams of Idlewild, MI, Barbara (Joe) Bady, Burkas Williams, Edith (Robert) Holmes, Linda Braddock, all of Saginaw, MI, Carl (Chiquita) Williams, Donald Williams, both of Grand Rapids, MI; her grandchildren, Reginald F. Cameron, Jr., Shadonna and Tatianna Holden, Calvin, Brieann and Aaron Anderson, Destanee Brazil-Wolfe, Darwin Wolfe, Michael and Micaha Applegate, Meecko D. Johnson, Chloe Wolfe, all of Saginaw, MI, Ashley Anderson, Rodnell Gibson of Junction City, KS and Brooklyn Wolfe of Brooklyn, NY; a host of relatives and many friends, including dear friends and co-workers, Emma Nelloms, Elizabeth Walker and Jessie Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Wolfe; her parents, David and Agather Williams; brother, David Williams, Jr.; and sister, Laffolyette Hammond. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of the Visiting Nurses Association, Covenant Medical Center-Cooper and the John K. Bartnik Oncology Center.
