Mr. Shellie Fitzpatrick, Jr.

Mr. Shellie Fitzpatrick, Jr. our dearly beloved father, grandfather and brother went home peacefully to be with the Lord on March 8, 2020 at the age of 68 years old. He was born on March 11, 1951 in Union Spring, Alabama the son of Shellie and Nancy (Kiser) Fitzpatrick. He met his beloved lifelong partner Mary Beasley in Saginaw, Michigan in the 1970’s and they spent many happy years together. Shellie was a former resident of Debary, FL. He served in the Job Corps and was a skilled carpenter by trade for nearly 30 years. Shellie was the only black carpenter who had the honor of participating in building the Zilwaukee bridge, which is the 4th largest bridge in Michigan. He took pride in his work and was very dedicated to his family. Shellie enjoyed walking, meeting new people, experiencing new things, spending time outdoors, traveling and he loved to dress nice. He was also known for being very vocal and expressing his feelings. Shellie retired from Carpenter Local 343. Mr. Shellie Fitzpatrick, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, his lifelong partner, Mary Beasley, his children, Elizabeth R. Fitzpatrick, Fareedah L. Fitzpatrick, Willie C. Fitzpatrick, Marcus Fitzpatrick and Destiny A. Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Cora E. Fitzpatrick, Kei’Vant Fitzpatrick-Wright, Nakiya Wright, Kayden A. Fitzpatrick, Chance T. Fitzpatrick, Sariya Clark, Brielle Hicks, Kylen Gray and Psalm Wright; sisters, Mary Ann (Donald) Servant; brother, James (Ethel) Fitzpatrick; niece, Camisha (Lebraun) Owens; nephews, Spencer (Tracey) Fitzpatrick and Shelli J. (Alma) Fitzpatrick; special cousins, Willie Dean Golden, Sandra Renee Kiser, Cynthia Jean Sims and Denise Crim; many other cousins, relatives and friends including special friends, May Ruth Young and Clara Black. Mr. Fitzpatrick, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Shellie Fitzpatrick; daughter, Aneesah Fitzpatrick; grandparents, Mary and Joseph; sister Phonzellia Thompson. Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Andersen Enrichment Center, 120 Ezra Rust Drive, Saginaw, Michigan 48601. Pastor Hurley J.
