Ms. Sherrie Lynn Hibler

Ms. Sherrie Lynn Hibler was called home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2025, at Covenant Medical Center, at the age of 60 years. Sherrie was born December 23, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Bertha Johnson and Linnon Hibler. Sherrie was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and a member of the Poker Pals Card Club. She loved playing cards and hosting gatherings at her home because she was all about family and friends and how to keep us all together. She enjoyed cooking, getting dressed up, drinking her coffee, watching the soaps, and spending time with her children and grandchildren playing games. Sherrie supported and touched the hearts of many people. She was a loving, generous, truthful, loyal, and fun person who will be truly missed. Sherrie leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Monique (Albert) Hibler of Saginaw, MI; six sons, London Cooper, Antonio Hibler, Larry Hibler, Demarcus Hibler, Jamaal Hibler, and Jamar (Artisha) Hibler, all of Saginaw, MI; and Kenneth Swayzer who she called her son; 22 grandchildren, Taveon Hibler, Antorius Hibler, Antionette Hibler, Demarcus Hibler, Jr., Damarrion Hibler, Jayla Hibler, Ja’Leah Hibler, Aiden Hibler, Jia Hibler, Jurnee Hibler, Marie Swayzer, Kenneth Swayzer Jr., Jermey Swayzer, A’Leeyiah Williams, Damarion Hibler, My’Love Williams, Saphira Jones, Aleesha McCaw, Nyla Lain, Taeshawn McKinney, DeAnthony McKinney, and Antonio Sutton; two sisters, Karolyn Hibler and Selina May, both of Saginaw, MI; four brothers, Frank Jackson and J.W. Johnson Jr., both of Saginaw, MI, Terry Hibler of Memphis, TN, and Linnon Hibler of Flint, MI; a host of nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; many cousins; including special nieces, Tina Lindsey-Watley, Victoria Hibler and LaCresha Hibler; special nephews, Anton Hibler and Deon Lindsey; other relatives, loved ones and friends including special friends, Brenda (Lonnie) White, Narvadoe (Maine) Cooper, Metre, Bates, Ann and Toni. Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Johnson and Linnon Hibler; her stepfather, J.W. Johnson; two sisters, Denise Patrick and Lisa Johnson; two brothers, Robert Lindsay and Ricky Hibler; and many aunts, uncles, and other loved ones. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Elder Markeen Baker will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
