Tangela "Tammy" Banks

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at the New Life Full Gospel Church, 1200 E. Genesee. Pastor Zachary Williamson will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Tangela A. Banks passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010. She was born September 3, 1969 in Saginaw, MI, to Ruby A. Choyce and Clarence L. Nowell. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School and had been employed by Mystic-Way and the Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. She was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church. Mrs. Banks leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Nicholas Banks; three sons and two daughters, Bryan Jones, Artavious Brown, Devontae Pierson, Botynna Jones and Arquisha Brown; two step-children, Jessica Moore and Shawn Banks, both of Arkansas; two grandchildren, Byron Jones, Jr. and Demetrianna Brown, both of Saginaw, MI; her parents, Ruby A. Choyce and Clarence L. Nowell; grandmother, Catherine Rouster of Saginaw, MI; sisters, Johnnie Mae (Clinton) Bonds, Kiesha Williams of Ohio and Latiaya Johnson; brothers, Jermaine Askew (Tanyan), Charles McKinney of New Jersey, Korrey Williams of Ohio and Demarco Turner; niece, Jamika Lytle of Saginaw, MI; nephews, Bobby Nowell, Demetrius Nowell, DeQuentin Nowell, DeMarkcus Nowell and Jermaine J. Askew, Jr., all of Saginaw, MI; aunts, Dora Cooper of Saginaw, MI, Debra Brooks of Grand Rapids, MI, Gail Choyce of Arlington, VA and Charlene Starks of Waldorf, MA; uncles, Anthony Garth, Nathaniel Garth, both of Saginaw, MI, Kenneth Choyce, Byron Choyce, both of Denver, CO, Marvin Choyce of Lansing, MI and Leroy Nowell of Charleston, SC; cousins, Kathleen Batts, Yolanda Cooper, both of Saginaw, MI, Federick Cooper of Lansing, MI and Reginald Cooper of New York; mother-in-law, Theaeora Banks of Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Denise Charlston, Lisa Hogg, Wanda Hogg and Roshonda Blakes, all of Saginaw, MI.
