Mr. Tommy "Bug" Lee Dunn, Jr.

Mr. Tommy “Bug” Lee Dunn, Jr. was born June 18, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Tommy Lee Dunn, Sr. and Evelyn J. (Bruce) Dunn-Hale. He passed away October 2, 2021 in McKees Rock, Pennsylvania at the age of 66 years. Tommy loved the Lord, being around his family, and had a special love for his kids. He graduated from the Saginaw Public School System and was formerly employed at Grey Iron Foundry, GM. He was a blessed man, and very creative. He was an herbalist, an artist, a welder and a fisherman who would fish from sun up to sun down. Tommy had a special technique of cleaning and preparing a delicious meal for family and friends from his catch of the day. He also enjoyed traveling, and working at Jitney (Uber) Transportation Service in McKee’s Rock, PA. He had a hunger to know more about the Lord and share it with others. Tommy never met a stranger. Mr. Dunn leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kentonya D. Butts-Smith, Stockbridge, GA and Branden D. Dunn, Saginaw, MI; sisters, Regina Dunn, Swansea, IL, Deloria (Lavalle) Williams, Sr., Carol Dunn, Macy (James) Fort, Alice Dunn and Share’ (Charles) Patrick, all of Saginaw; brother, Robert Dunn, St. Louis, MO; god-daughter, Sabrina S. Smith, Saginaw; god-sister, Tierra Tivis, Linda Ford and Judy Finch; aunts, Minnie Pearl Chinn, Bobbieteen Austin, Victoria (Forrest) Coulter, Aileen Plump, Verneice (Willie) Wise and a special aunt, Carol Carroll who was like a mother; uncle, Roberteen (Althea) Bruce, Jr.; nieces, Wendy, Kenyata (Jermaine), Virginia, Amanda (Marcus), Lavallya (Ronnie), Brittane’ (Joe) and Jessica; nephews, Bruce (Sarah), Marlow (Mary), Charles Jr., Lavalle Jr. and Robert Jr.; a host of cousins, many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Glenn L. Moore, William Carter, Buford Gaitor, Willie Ashford, D. Wayzo Moore and many friends in McKees Rock, PA. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Dunn, Sr.; mother, Evelyn Dunn-Hale; step-father, Ben G. Hale, Sr.; grandparents, Robert and Warrine Bruce, Sr., Alfonzo and Macy Dunn; aunts, Merilyn Hamlet and Doris Jordan; great-aunts, Beatrice Brandon and Jessie Lee Jones and a nephew, J’arrell Patrick. Family hour will take place at 10:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2021, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607 with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan, 48601. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
