Mr. Troy Lee Webb, Sr.

Mr. Troy Lee Webb, Sr. gracefully completed his earthly journey and entered into the eternal embrace of Heaven on March 24, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on February 23, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan. Troy was the cherished son of Taylor Webb, Sr. and Cora Webb who instilled in him the values of faith, compassion and unwavering love. From the tender age of his youth, Troy dedicated his heart to Christ, embarking on a lifelong journey of devotion and service within his faith community. He found solace and spiritual nourishment through his membership in various churches, including Word of Faith Christian Center, Holy Mission Ministries and Agape Faith Fellowship. Troy’s faith was not only a cornerstone of his life but also a guiding light that illuminated his path of kindness and generosity towards others. Educated at Saginaw High School, Troy graduated with honors in June 1978 setting the stage for a life filled with purpose and determination. On June 6, 1979, Troy exchanged vows with his beloved Evelyn, his confidante and soulmate, in a ceremony overflowing with love and promise. Together, they embarked on a journey marked by unwavering devotion, mutual respect and endless joy. Throughout his professional career, Troy wore many hats with distinction and pride. From his early days in the bread industry to his entrepreneurial as a small business owner, Troy demonstrated unparalleled work ethic and resilience. In 2010 he proudly earned his associate’s degree from the University of Phoenix, a testament to his commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. Most recently, Troy served as a dedicated dietician at Health Source where he touched countless lives with his compassion and expertise. Beyond his professional endeavors, Troy found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was shooting hoops on the basketball court, cheering on his beloved Steelers, or reveling in the soul-stirring melodies of gospel music. Troy’s enthusiasm for life was infectious. He possessed a unique wit and a knack for sarcasm, yet his words were always seasoned with love and honesty. Troy’s legacy of kindness and selflessness extended far beyond the confines of his immediate family. He was a pillar of strength within his community, tireless lending a helping hand to those in need. Whether he was serving in the church ministry, mentoring youth, or offering his expertise on various boards. Troy’s impact was profound and everlasting. In his passing, Troy leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived, by his cherished son and best friend, Troy (Amy) Webb; daughters, Angela Webb and Cangela (Derrick) Johnson; honorary son, Ronald Baston, Jr.; his adored grandchildren, Charles Webb, Tearra West, Dearra West, Trinity and Troy Webb III. Troy is also survived by his beloved siblings, Dorothy (Léonard) Doxie, Mary Ann Webb, Denise (Floyd) Jackson, Nellie Ricks, Ricky (Constance) Webb, Roy Webb, Taylor (Loretta) Webb, Jr., Jesse Webb and Brady Pool; along with his sister-in-law, Junell Howell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Troy was also blessed by the daily prayers from his friend Michele Edwards. Special recognition is extended to his close friends, Allen Thomas, Paula Franklin, Janice Staples, Zelma Crawford and family, Chache Franklin and Nathaniel Jackson whose unwavering support brought joy and comfort to Troy’s life. Troy is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved wife, Evelyn; parents, Taylor and Cora Webb; brother, Morris Webb; sister, Myrtis Christian; father-in-law, Cornel Wicker, Sr; mother-in-law, Nora Wicker; other cherished family members who preceded him in death. Though he may be physically absent, Troy’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his boundless love and radiant spirit. Mr. Troy Lee Webb, Sr. will be dearly missed but never forgotten his legacy of love shining brightly as a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come. May he rest in eternal peace, cradled in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. Amen. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Agape Faith Fellowship, 8121 Dixie Hwy., Birch Run, MI 48415. Dr. Joseph Rodriguez, Sr. will officiate Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Fri.
