Mrs. Willie Bee Long

Mrs. Willie Bee Long was born December 12, 1953 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Mr. Bill O. Little, Sr. and Mrs. Bennie Bee Little. She passed away on July 22, 2026 at the age of 72 years. She was a longtime resident of the City of Saginaw, Michigan and a member of the Spiritual Isreal Church. She graduated from OIC/Delta and gained employment in the field of nursing. Willie Bee was a loving mother of six girls, Charlett Williams, Felica Little, Henretta Little, Sheila Long, Evone Long and Tiara Long. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing, spades, the casino, taking walks in the park and at bingo; these were just some of her favorite hobbies. She was loving and caring with a huge heart, that’s just how you would describe her. She will be greatly missed: her beautiful, affectionate smile, the good soul food and warm hugs. She leaves her legacy to everyone she knew and loved. Mrs. Long leaves seven daughters and one son to cherish her memory, Charlett (Gregory) Little Williams, Felica Little (Kevin), Sheila Long, Evone Long, (Altraruis) Tiara Long, Emarrion Stevens and Emarrionna Taylor. She also leaves her step-children, Billy Long, Sr., Ebony Long, Chris Turner and many others; 30 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosa M. (Henry) Coleman of Dallas, TX and Alberta (Sam) O’Neal all of Saginaw, Bill O. Little, Jr. and Tommy W. Little; aunts, Rosie L. Bullocks and Cora Rogers; an uncle, Samuel Rogers, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Lucious Long and Elizar Long; nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Catherine (George) Davis, Jr., Shirley (Allen) Little, Janie (Tommy) Little, Rayunza Chism-Hood; brothers-in-law, Harry Joe, Henry (Rosie) Coleman and George Davis, Jr., many other relatives and friends including special friends, Carolyn J. Mason, Lachaka Miller, Catina Lynn and many others. Mrs. Willie Bee Long was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Long; a special granddaughter, Edreana Taylor; parents, Bennie Bee and Bill O. Little, Sr.; grandparents, Samuel and Mary E. Rogers; siblings, Tommy (Jenie) Little, Allen (Shirley) Little, Mary Little and Jerdine Joe; a niece, Arteshia Hooper. The family would like to express special thanks to Mary A. Parham, Felicia Williams-Young, the staff of MI Michigan Health ICU Unit and family and friends. A special thanks to her daughter, Felicia Little. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Staurday, August 8, 2026, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
